Viggle Remake: Video Character Replacement Preserving Motion
Viggle Remake released a tool for editing finished video. In Recast mode, you can replace an actor or character with a reference image.
Another mode changes objects, environment, or lighting. Both use the original clip as a base to preserve motion, timing, and camera trajectory.
Release based on MiniMax H3
Viggle distributes two separate LoRA adapters and publishes a launch script, ComfyUI graphs, and quantized versions. The base transformer in full precision weighs about 144 GB.
For consumer graphics cards, documentation separately describes int8 and GGUF options and weight offloading to RAM. Speed and memory consumption depend on the configuration and video length.
Developers added an MCP server for long content
- The agent can split the video into shots
- Process them individually
- Assemble the result
This provides a way to apply replacement to a series of frames without manually configuring each shot.
