Monitoring Linux Servers via a Telegram Bot
The normal state of servers is critical for the stability of IT infrastructure. Monitoring automation allows for prompt response to failures and security threats.
Autonomous monitoring
The Shelter-monitor-agent tool is an autonomous Telegram bot designed for managing Linux servers. The project is hosted in the IT-Shelter-Labs repository and is available at GitHub.
The bot's main features include tracking key system performance indicators. Users receive notifications about Docker container operation and the status of running services.
Real-time alerts
A critically important function is monitoring events related to infrastructure security. The system sends real-time notifications directly to the Telegram messenger.
Additionally, there is functionality for remote server management through the chat interface. This allows administrators to quickly take action without needing direct access to the console.
