Free Alternatives to Adobe and Microsoft Office in Rust

The ArtCraft team has released a line of open-source alternatives to popular Adobe, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD software, written in the Rust programming language.

Available tools include PhotoCraft with support for layers, masks, and PSD format, as well as VectorCraft, FilmCraft, and LightCraft for graphics and video editing.

PdfCraft, EffectCraft, and DesignCraft have also been implemented, replacing Acrobat, After Effects, and InDesign. WordCraft, GridCraft, DeckCraft, and CadCraft are currently under development.

All projects are distributed under MIT and Apache 2.0 licenses and work on Windows, macOS, Linux, and in browsers.

A key feature is the ability to manage AI agents via MCP. Any action from the interface can be executed by a script or neural network.

The repositories contain instructions for parallel operation of multiple agents. The developers do not claim that the code was generated by artificial intelligence.
