Aer Lingus provides free high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi on all flights
Aer Lingus has fully equipped its long-haul fleet with the Starlink satellite internet system. Free Wi-Fi is now available on all flights to the US.
The modernization program covered all 12 Airbus A330 aircraft, as well as 14 A321LR and A321XLR models. Installation began in March, with completion originally planned for early 2027; however, the work was finished ahead of schedule by the end of October 2026.
Passengers gain access to high-speed internet with speeds up to 500 Mbps. This allows for comfortable streaming of series, online work, and gaming during flights.
- High-speed connection (up to 500 Mbps) for streaming and work
- Wi-Fi availability throughout the entire route: from boarding to landing
- Ability to connect multiple devices simultaneously without restrictions
Internet is provided free of charge to all passengers without the need for registration or loyalty program membership. Unlike other airlines that often offer Starlink only in exchange for customers' personal data, Aer Lingus makes the service immediately accessible.
The next phase of modernization will involve 35 narrow-body A320 and A320neo aircraft operating European routes. Exact dates for equipment installation on these aircraft have not yet been announced.
