Experimental Windows 11 Pico11 Build Fits on CD

The developer of the Tiny11 build has presented an experimental version of the Pico11 operating system, which weighs less than 700 MB. This size allows you to install Windows 11 on a standard CD.

Despite the radical reduction in volume, the system retains basic functionality. Users can use the desktop, open the calculator and settings, as well as save files in Notepad and draw in Paint.

Achieving such a compact size was made possible by removing critical components. The image excluded Windows Update modules and system maintenance mechanisms, which allowed to significantly reduce the data volume without losing interface operability.
