New ChatGPT-6.1 Terra Model from OpenAI

ChatGPT-6.1 Terra: Speed, Accuracy, and Reduced Costs

The ChatGPT-6.1 Terra model, which operates three times faster than flagship models and minimizes hallucinations, has been released. Developers have adapted the neural network for computer control and solving real-world work tasks.

Computer Control

The model interacts with applications, fills out forms, edits videos, and creates 3D models from blueprints. In complex tests, Terra's performance approached that of GPT-6 Astra.

Accuracy and Programming

The error rate dropped by 40%: from 53.6% to 16.7% at minimal cost, and down to 4.3% at maximum settings. Programming quality improved more than twofold — 50.3% of tasks solved versus 21.5% for its predecessor.

Speed and Cost

Agentic task resolution became three times faster compared to GPT-6 Astra and Sol. The model is nine times cheaper than Claude Opus 5.5 and half the price of previous versions.

Availability

The AI is available to Plus, Pro, Enterprise, and Edu subscribers via ChatGPT Work and Codex. An API is open for developers.
