Viggle JST-2: New Model for 3D Generation

Viggle has unveiled the JST-2 engine for generating 3D scenes and characters. This marks a technological evolution from meme creation to building virtual worlds.

The engine is built on an in-house development from scratch, unlike previous versions that used MiniMax H3 adapters. The new model allows replacing characters and changing video camera angles.

The model's technical specifications include the following features:

  • Interaction physics are calculated using standard rules; a trainable version will appear in JST-3
  • Clothing and hair deform but lack weight simulation
  • Characters are represented as Gaussian splats instead of polygonal meshes
  • Inference cost is estimated at less than one cent; the API costs $0.06 per scene

Performance was measured on NVIDIA B200 hardware without network latency. The technology is suitable for rapid prototyping, although a full-world physical model is currently absent.

Details about the engine's capabilities are available on the project's official website.
