Unitree Unveils H2-X Bodyguard Robot

Chinese company Unitree has introduced the H2-X Kung Fu Legend Guardian humanoid robot, positioned as a means of physical protection. The device is capable of delivering kung fu-style strikes and can operate for up to eight hours without recharging.

This new positioning of robots evokes associations with the security industry of the early 1990s. Unlike humans, robots do not require payment, do not sleep, and do not experience moral qualms when carrying out protection tasks.

Technical specifications include an enhanced finger grip and high operational autonomy. The company promises a powerful mechanism capable of withstanding physical threats.

The emergence of such devices opens new opportunities for the security market but also raises questions about the potential risks associated with using autonomous bodyguards.
