Skoda releases free 3D models of home accessories

Auto manufacturer Skoda has provided owners with free 3D models to print accessories at home. The catalog includes cup holders, smartphone mounts, organizers, and cable hooks designed by the company's engineers and designers. Most models fit perfectly into standard compartments without interior modifications.

Wide range of parts for any model

The collection includes accessories for both modern cars and those discontinued. This allows maintaining comfort and functionality in the interior even for older Skoda versions. Developers paid special attention to compatibility with original mounting points.

3D printing capabilities from the manufacturer

Although printing full-size car parts is not yet available, the company offers miniature versions of its vehicles. All files are available on the Printables platform, where users can download blueprints and start creating useful items for their transport.

Where to find models for printing

The complete catalog of available files is hosted on Skoda's official profile on Printables. Users do not need to search for third-party solutions as all parts have been tested by the corporation's engineers for dimensional accuracy and ergonomics.

Maximum care: there are models even for cars that have already been discontinued.

The automaker's initiative demonstrates a commitment to eco-friendliness and car owner personalization. The ability to create necessary parts independently reduces costs for purchasing original accessories and gives a second life to plastic interior elements.

Future development prospects

The availability of official models opens the way for broader use of 3D printing in the automotive industry. In the future, the list of available parts may expand through user-developed designs and improved engineering solutions.
