Telegram to Introduce Recommendation Feed

A new 'News' tab has been discovered in the beta version of Telegram for macOS, representing a feed of posts from channels.

The feed is divided into two sections: "Added" with posts from subscriptions and "For You" with personalized recommendations.

• Changing interest categories
• Searching for posts
• Marking as read
• Direct navigation to channels

The mechanism for generating recommendations has not yet been disclosed, raising questions about user data privacy.

The first elements of recommendations appeared in 2023, but at that time only channels were offered.

There is no official announcement of the feature, so functionality may change or be canceled before release.
