Quixel Megascans Become Free for AI Training Use

Epic Games has announced full free access to the Quixel Megascans 3D asset library on the Fab marketplace. At the same time, the license agreement has been updated to allow the use of materials for training generative AI.

New rules officially allow including assets from the Quixel Megascans and Megaplants catalogs in datasets for training artificial intelligence models. Users gain access to thousands of reference PBR textures and highly detailed 3D objects.

The transition of all catalog items to a free status will be completed by November 12. Epic Games will automatically refund payments for all Megascans and Quixel Bundle purchases made since January 1, 2025, to developers' account balances.
