Ledger, Trezor, and OneKey Restrict Crypto Wallet Sales
Major hardware wallet manufacturers Ledger, Trezor, and OneKey are restricting device sales through third-party resellers. The measures were taken following an incident with supplier CryptoBilis, which revealed vulnerabilities in the supply chain.
Sales Restrictions
Ledger has asked partners to temporarily halt wallet sales in several Southeast Asian countries. The ban covers Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
The restrictions affect more than 20 sellers, including major marketplaces LazMall, Shopee, Tokopedia, and Bitkub. Direct sales through Ledger's official store continue unchanged.
In Europe, the MediaMarkt network also halted Ledger sales across all 11 countries of presence, affecting over a thousand stores.
Changes in the Partner Network
Trezor is reducing its reseller network following the Ledger incident. Official distributor CryptoBilis has been removed from the partner list. Some remaining resellers will lose authorization starting January 1, 2027, and new shipments to them have stopped.
OneKey has also ended cooperation with CryptoBilis and begun reviewing other partners. Users who purchased devices through this seller between March 1 and October 12, 2026, are offered a free replacement regardless of the model.
