The development of artificial intelligence technologies is forcing the Bitcoin Core team to reconsider its approach to network security. The growing number of vulnerabilities that are now easily detected using neural networks has led to changes in threat response protocols.

Previously, information about security issues could be kept secret for months, and fixes only appeared in major updates. Now, easily detectable vulnerabilities will be patched across all supported versions as quickly as possible, with details published simultaneously with the patch release.
