Larisa Dolina Becomes Victim of Scammers with Fake iPhones

Singer Larisa Dolina has been implicated in a scandal involving a fraudulent scheme disguised as the "iPhoneBerry" store. According to media reports, the star was deceived because she was unaware that her image was being used to advertise the scammers.

The fake advertisement was created using neural networks. The performer emphasized that she had no connection to promoting this resource and did not consent to the use of her image.

Scammers offered customers the chance to buy Apple smartphones at a significant discount, provided they prepaid for delivery from Dubai. In the end, the store turned out to be fictitious, and about two hundred people fell victim to the scheme.

The total damage caused by the criminals is estimated at approximately 10 million rubles. Besides Larisa Dolina, other public figures and bloggers were allegedly involved in creating the advertising materials.

Singer Prokhor Shalyapin told journalists that he and some actors were offered participation in the ads in exchange for a free smartphone. Such methods are used to increase audience trust in fraudulent projects.
