k7 Tool for Secure Virtual Sandboxes

The k7 tool simplifies the creation and management of lightweight, secure virtual machine sandboxes for executing untrusted code at any scale.

The platform is built on proven VM isolation technologies including Kata, Firecracker, QEMU, Longhorn, and Kubernetes, along with the custom k7d runtime environment.

Initially, the project was developed for artificial intelligence agents that needed to execute arbitrary code at large scale.

k7 is well-suited for the following tasks:

• Custom serverless solutions (similar to AWS Fargate, but under your control)
• Secure CI/CD pipelines without the risks associated with Docker-in-Docker
• Blockchain execution layers for decentralized AI applications
