Grok Consulted Trump Before Operation in Venezuela

In December 2025, Elon Musk met with Donald Trump in the Oval Office, after leaving DOGE. During this meeting, Trump consulted the Grok chatbot regarding his presidency.

One of the key issues concerned the reaction of Venezuelans to the possible capture of President Nicolas Maduro. The bot characterized Maduro as a repressive and unpopular dictator, predicting celebrations of his downfall by the population.

After the US operation in Caracas and the actual capture of Maduro, mass celebrations indeed began on the streets. Trump rated the accuracy of Grok's forecast as brilliant, noting that the bot only provided an analysis while the decision was made by a human.

This is not the only instance of using Musk's technologies for military purposes. In the summer, the Pentagon confirmed the use of Gov Grok in operations against Iran.

Currently, Elon Musk together with Palmer Luckey from Anduril leads a research project for the Pentagon. The goal of the project is to determine ways to apply advanced technologies in the military sphere.

Private billionaire chatbots are already participating in decisions about war and regime change, and their creators help the military determine further actions.
