Geely launches affordable hybrid Preface L Plus

Chinese manufacturer Geely has unveiled the Preface L Plus hybrid sedan, positioned as an affordable alternative to the Toyota Camry. The car is equipped with a powerful electric motor and advanced safety systems.

The new model's technical specifications include a 1.5-liter turbo engine and a 238-horsepower electric motor. The hybrid powertrain allows for pure electric driving at speeds up to 66 km/h without needing to plug in.

The car's interior features a large 15.4-inch multimedia screen. To ensure driver safety, an advanced assistance system is used, including a LiDAR sensor and 11 surround-view cameras.

The model's pricing policy demonstrates high competitiveness in the market. In China, the base version costs about 1.37 million rubles, while the top trim is priced at approximately 1.8 million rubles.

This cost makes the new Geely sedan significantly more attractive to buyers compared to traditional Japanese analogs. The model is offered at roughly one-and-a-half times the price of the Toyota Camry in the Chinese market.
