Deterioration of Mobile Service in Russia by 2028

Mobile service quality in Russia is expected to deteriorate sharply by 2028. By that time, operators will be required to disconnect over a million foreign base stations.

Legislation permits only domestic equipment; however, there is a critical nuance. The number of new Russian towers produced is significantly lower than the required volume.

Scale of the Equipment Replacement Problem

Only thousands of Russian analogs are produced annually to replace more than one million foreign towers. In addition to installing new equipment, operators must fully replace old foreign stations.
