Bill Gates' Interview on the Internet in 1995

In November 1995, Bill Gates appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, attempting to explain the essence of the internet and its future significance to the audience.

The internet was just beginning to gain popularity, and many viewers did not take the technology seriously. The founder of Microsoft used simple examples to illustrate the scale of change, but the audience merely chuckled at his predictions.

Today, the internet is an integral part of life, but back then, it had to be explained literally from a stage. Viewers at the time had no idea how mistaken their doubts about the new technology's prospects would prove to be.
