Handoff: Portable Session Context for AI Agents

Developing with artificial intelligence often requires switching between different tools, leading to the loss of important contextual information. Handoff, a portable session context for AI agents, solves this problem.

When moving from Cursor to opening Claude Code, users face a complete loss of accumulated context. The tool saves plans, decisions made and their rationale, as well as unsuccessful approaches.

All data is written to a HANDOFF.md file, which can be read by any agent. This includes the state of the Git version control system and code testing results.
