Ultra Config for Claude Code: managing profiles and tokens

Claude Code users now have the ability to optimize token consumption and flexibly configure AI behavior for specific tasks. The new Ultra Config mod introduces a system of separate profiles for various usage scenarios.

The tool offers five pre-configured settings, allowing you to balance speed, quality, and security when executing commands within a single session.

• Token Saver**: saves resources by using the Sonnet model with low effort, concise responses, and Haiku sub-agents.
• Fast Flow**: ensures continuous operation by automatically approving edits and using medium effort levels.
• Max Quality**: utilizes the most powerful model at maximum effort to achieve the highest result quality.
• Guarded**: enhances security by requiring confirmation for every action, restricting access to secrets, and protecting against limit bypasses.
• Autopilot**: optimized for long sessions with push notifications and result summaries.

Install the modification with a single npm command: npx claude-code-templates@latest --mod productivity/ultra-config. After installation, activate the desired profile using the /ultra-config command.

A key advantage of this solution is the ability to switch between modes even while actively working, without interrupting the current development session.
