Trump Considers Large-Scale Military Operation Against Iran

The Trump administration is considering a large-scale military operation against Iran. The Pentagon presented the president with several options for resuming hostilities in the region.

Strike options include targeting nuclear facilities and critical infrastructure such as bridges. Operations to seize islands under Tehran's control are also being discussed.

Two carrier strike groups are already deployed in the region. A third group is heading from the Pacific Ocean, and an amphibious assault ship carrying Marines is being redeployed.
