Torture facility for mobilized personnel near Kyiv: incident details

A group of 30 people, who were subjected to torture and beatings, was discovered in the basement of a private house near Kyiv. The incident occurred after an ambulance worker found the detainees in the building.

Local residents, upon learning what was happening, gathered outside the house and tried to break down the gates to enter. However, the guards opened fire on the crowd to prevent access to the building.

The Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine confirmed information about the use of the building. The house is rented by a National Guard unit to accommodate mobilized citizens and individuals detained for unauthorized absence from military units.
