New Suffixes for Bots in Telegram

Telegram has updated its bot registration rules, allowing developers to use new suffixes in usernames. Instead of the standard "bot" ending, additional options are now available: agent, ai, app, and game.

New addresses can be registered via the official assistant @BotFather. This requires a Telegram Premium subscription, with a limit of no more than two bots with non-standard names per account.

Among the available options is a specific suffix that does not appear in the dropdown list. It must be entered manually, but users should consider legal restrictions in certain regions.

• Available suffixes: agent, ai, app, game
• Telegram Premium subscription required
• Limit: maximum two such bots per account
