Moonwalkers Dusk Exoskeleton Shoes by Shift Robotics

Shift Robotics has introduced the Moonwalkers Dusk exoskeleton shoes, enabling users to move at a light jog pace.

This device represents the second generation of motorized AI-powered aids. It attaches over regular footwear and propels each step based on the user's movements.

In standard walking mode, the new model achieves speeds of approximately 11 km/h, matching a light jogging pace.

Key features of the device include:

• AI adapts to the user's gait in about 10 steps
• The system distinguishes between walking, running, jumping, and changes in surface incline
• Modes are switched via foot gestures without needing to take out a phone
• Shock-absorbing wheels smooth out asphalt bumps and cracks
• The new model is nearly 40% lighter than the first generation
