Drone attack on Yaroslavl oil refinery: casualties and destruction
Russia's largest oil refineries came under attack by unmanned aerial vehicles. A fire broke out at one of these facilities in Yaroslavl, causing significant damage to the infrastructure.
The region's governor, Evgeny Evraev, confirmed information about the damage caused. According to him, plant employees and residents of nearby houses were among those affected by the incident.
Two plant workers required medical assistance after suffering shrapnel wounds and were hospitalized. The situation was complicated by fragments of shot-down drones scattering over a wide area.
As drone debris fell, windows were blown out in several apartment buildings and private homes. Damage to parked cars near the impact zone was also recorded.
The incident in Yaroslavl serves as further evidence of escalating conflicts within the industrial sector. Attacks on energy infrastructure continue to inflict damage on both production facilities and civilian housing.
