MTS Tests Answering Machine with Owner's Voice

MTS is testing the "Your Voice" feature in the "MTS Secretary" service, which allows an answering machine to mimic the speech of the phone owner. The user uploads a short audio file, after which artificial intelligence based on VoiceTech analyzes pronunciation features and speech patterns.

The virtual secretary uses the acquired data to answer missed calls using your voice. The recording with the speech sample is classified as personal data, stored in a secure environment, and is accessible exclusively to the user themselves.

The feature is currently available only to some subscribers but will later be rolled out to all service users. According to MTS statistics, 30% of Russians would like to use such an answering machine.
