Ministry of Labor to Check Card Transactions for Child Benefits

Starting April 1, 2027, the Russian Ministry of Labor will begin monitoring bank card transactions to determine eligibility for child benefits. This new measure aims to more strictly assess families' financial situations.

New Verification Rules

The agency will analyze not only official income but also fund movements on cards. Families whose income exceeds double the annual threshold risk having their benefits denied.
