GPT-6 Availability for All ChatGPT Users

OpenAI has announced the start of a large-scale rollout of the new GPT-6 model in the ChatGPT service. The update will be available to all platform users, with the release taking place in two stages based on subscription type.

Paid subscriptions get priority access

Today, October 7, the model becomes available to Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscribers. These customers will receive an enhanced version called GPT-6 Sol, which features improved request processing capabilities.

Free users join the update the following day

For owners of Free and Go plans, the update is scheduled for October 8. They will gain access to the GPT-6 Luna version, adapted for standard use. The update applies exclusively to chat mode, while Work and Code functions already include new capabilities.

The question regarding the release of version 6.1 remains open

At present, the company has not confirmed the timeline for the appearance of the GPT-6.1 modification. Users are awaiting further clarification regarding the development of the model line and potential performance improvements.
