Nvidia RTX Spark Laptops: Prices and Specifications

The first laptops based on the new Nvidia RTX Spark graphics processor are now on sale. Manufacturers including Microsoft, Dell, Lenovo, MSI, HP and Asus have already unveiled their models.

The starting price for the most affordable configuration is $2,599. This model features an 18-core processor, 24 GB of unified memory, and a 512 GB storage drive.

Prices rise quickly as performance increases:

• Microsoft's Surface Laptop Ultra with 48 GB of memory is available for $3,999.99
• The Asus ProArt P16 with a 20-core chip, 128 GB of memory, and a 2 TB drive costs up to $6,999.99

These devices are aimed at content creators and users running artificial intelligence locally. Prices are not expected to drop due to rising RAM costs, known as RAMageddon.

For comparison, the top-tier 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 Max chip costs nearly $10,000. Running neural networks locally ensures privacy but requires significant financial investment.
