Kidnappers of Crypto Trader Detained in St

In St. Petersburg, police arrested six men who kidnapped a young crypto trader and forced him to transfer 70,000 USDT to them. The stolen amount is approximately 5.9 million rubles.

The crime began with a conversation: the young man shared his cryptocurrency successes and plans to invest hundreds of millions of rubles in business with an acquaintance. This information became known to the acquaintance's friends, which led to the crime.

The perpetrators posed as law enforcement officers, forcibly put the victim in a car, and compelled him to transfer cryptocurrency to a specified wallet. Afterward, they fled with the stolen funds.

Police quickly arrested all six suspects. During searches, more than 10 million rubles in cash and six mobile phones, potentially used for coordination, were seized from them.
