Hidden Surveillance in Moscow Schools: Interactive Whiteboards Record Lessons
A hidden surveillance system has been discovered in Moscow schools. Interactive whiteboards are capable of recording all conversations between teachers and students, as revealed by one of the educators.
The recording software changed its name. In July, it was called "Lesson Audio Recording Agent," but in October it was renamed to "Agent Ensuring Lesson Conduct."
System Mechanism
- Recording can be activated remotely or automatically on-site
- Each interactive whiteboard is linked to a specific school and classroom
- All collected audio data is transmitted to the infrastructure of Moscow authorities
