FSB to Gain Access to Crypto Exchange Data

The Central Bank has proposed that the FSB receive all customer data from crypto exchanges in Russia. This provision is included in the regulator's proposals for the law "On Digital Currencies and Digital Rights".

What information will be available to the FSB

• Customer full name, passport details, and tax ID
• Phone numbers and bank account details
• Transaction records and wallet addresses
• IP addresses, login times, and chat content

Under the new legislation, this data may only be stored on Russian servers. This ensures oversight by security services over transactions involving digital assets.
