Crypto Trader Kidnapping in St

A case of cryptocurrency trader kidnapping was recorded in St. Petersburg. Six attackers posing as law enforcement officers extorted a transfer of funds.

The criminals demanded 70,000 USDT be transferred to them, equivalent to approximately 6 million rubles. The victim was a 24-year-old young man engaged in trading digital assets.

The attack was prompted by a conversation between the victim and a friend. The crypto trader spoke about his financial successes and plans to invest hundreds of millions of rubles in a new business.
