Crisis at Ueno Bank: Millions of Paraguayans Lose Deposits
The Central Bank of Paraguay intervened in the operations of the country's largest financial institution, Ueno Bank. The regulator froze funds due to a critical drop in the capital adequacy ratio, which led to the blocking of accounts belonging to millions of clients and state pension funds.
