4-Meter Hydraulic Robot Neo1 Unveiled
Beijing startup NeodraDynamics has unveiled the Neo1 humanoid robot, standing approximately 4 meters tall and weighing up to 1.2 tons. The device can lift loads of up to 500 kg with both hands.
The machine uses a hybrid drive system: 39 joints operate on digital hydraulic cylinders, while two others use electric drives. The robot has a total of 41 degrees of freedom and a stated positioning accuracy of ±0.005 mm.
Neo1 is designed for extreme environments: heavy assembly, port loading, nuclear power plant maintenance, mines, and disaster response. Company founder Yang Tao believes robots should surpass human physical limits.
