ChatGPT becomes official guardian of a child in a UAE
A resident of Abu Dhabi included a clause in her will regarding the upbringing of her child using artificial intelligence. The woman transferred her life values and recommendations to the ChatGPT chatbot so that the neural network could assist guardians in making key decisions.
According to the legal document, guardians are required to regularly consult with AI on matters of education, healthcare, and other important aspects of the minor's life. To ensure compliance with the deceased mother's wishes, a strict reporting procedure is mandated.
Guardians must keep a log of all conversations with the chatbot and submit them for review by an independent expert. This is required to confirm that decisions are made solely based on the knowledge and values embedded in the model.
An example of interaction shows the system's flexibility: if a guardian proposes an incorrect decision, such as sending the child to a humanities university, the neural network can quickly correct the error by acknowledging the previous advice was inaccurate.
