Buterin Praises ZKsync Airbender Prime Update

Vitalik Buterin has highly praised the ZKsync update, calling the launch of Airbender Prime a significant event for the ecosystem.

The zkEVM prover technology demonstrated the ability to prove in real-time that 99% of 7,200 consecutive Ethereum blocks were valid on a single NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell graphics card. Processing each block took less than 12 seconds.

The creator of Ethereum stated that the race for speed in the zkEVM space is effectively over. The main priority should now be security: formal verification of compliance with the Ethereum specification, predictable cost of proof generation, and overall system reliability.
