Bureau 1440 Presents Lineup of Terminals for Russian Satellite Internet

The Bureau 1440 company has presented a range of subscriber terminals for satellite internet, simultaneously deploying its constellation in orbit and the ground segment. The phased implementation of this new generation of connectivity has already begun.

The lineup includes the mass-produced "1440.Ultra" terminal with speeds up to 700 Mbit/s, dimensions of 600x600 mm, and IP67 protection. It operates both stationary and while in motion. The device is 30% lighter than the pre-production model and is installed in remote areas, construction sites, and infrastructure facilities.

Also presented is the concept "1440.Mini", measuring 300x300 mm with speeds around 100 Mbit/s, designed for rescuers, geological expeditions, and emergency services. Exact start dates for production of this model have not been announced.

The "1440.Zemlya" terminal was developed specifically for Russian Railways (RZD), providing connectivity at train speeds up to 400 km/h, offering satellite internet to passengers on "Lastochka", "Sapsan", and long-distance trains.

Prices for all presented devices were not disclosed at the time of the announcement. The task now lies in launching enough satellites into orbit to ensure stable speeds of 700 Mbit/s across the entire country, not just at exhibition booths.
