Designer's Mistake: How a Brand Turned a Defect into
The stress-relief toy brand released a model with a design error that marketers turned into an exclusive. Designers forgot to draw eyes on the fox, leaving temporary cross marks.
On the production line, these markings were taken literally. As a result, the toy was produced without eyes.
Marketers decided to use the situation to their advantage. The fox can now only be found in a special blind box.
