Apple Unveils iPad mini with OLED Screen and A20 Pro

New iPad mini with OLED display and A20 Pro chip

Apple has announced a significant update to its tablet lineup, introducing the next generation of iPad mini. The device features an improved display, a powerful processor, and enhanced water resistance.

The most significant change concerns the screen: the diagonal size increased from 8.3 to 8.5 inches, and the bezels are now 24% thinner. Engineers integrated the speaker grilles directly into the display matrix to preserve design integrity.

For more convenient video calls, the front-facing camera has been moved to the side frame. This solution allows users to hold the device in any orientation without blocking the lens with their fingers.

The internal components are based on the new A20 Pro chip, which provides high performance for resource-intensive tasks. The tablet also received a water resistance rating, expanding its potential use cases.

The starting price for the new model is $699. Official sales will begin on November 6, offering users up-to-date technology in a compact form factor.
