First Touchscreen MacBook Pro: Specifications and Price

Apple will unveil the first touchscreen MacBook Pro at its event on October 28. Bloomberg journalists have confirmed this information and revealed technical details of the new device.

The new laptops will feature OLED displays with diagonals of 14 and 16 inches, as well as powerful M5 Pro and M5 Max processors. Instead of the traditional notch, there will be a Dynamic Island, similar to that in iPhones.

• OLED screens for high contrast
• M5 Pro and M5 Max chips
• Dynamic Island replacing the notch
• Retention of keyboard and trackpad

Touch control will become an additional tool, not replacing familiar input methods. Meanwhile, the company is preparing an updated iMac, a MacBook Pro version with an M6 chip, and a new iPad mini.

The estimated cost of the base model with a 14-inch screen will be $2999, while the version with a 16-inch panel will cost $3499.
