Claude Dashboards and Motion: Anthropic Feature Overview

Anthropic has launched new tools for working with data and video: Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion. These features expand the platform's capabilities, allowing users not only to generate content but also to integrate it into professional workflows.

Interactive Analytics in Natural Language

Claude Dashboards transforms user queries into ready-made analytics panels. The system automatically generates SQL queries, builds charts and tables, ensuring connection to the data source via metadata rather than static images.

The platform supports connections to popular databases and services:

Snowflake, BigQuery, ClickHouse, Databricks, Redshift
Salesforce and other platforms

Ready-made dashboards can be exported to specialized analytics systems such as Amplitude, Grafana, Hex, Mixpanel, Omni, Perplexity, and PostHog. Support for Looker, Tableau, and monday.com is planned for the near future.

Creating Animation Videos with AI

Claude Motion allows you to create animations of text, charts, and graphical elements using code. The tool supports editing parameters through a dialogue with AI or manually without needing to fully regenerate the scene. Results are exported in MP4 format.

Integration with external tools includes Adobe, Descript, HeyGen, Higgsfield, invideo, and Luma AI. Canva and Captions will be added in the future. Documentation currently does not confirm the ability to export source files for Premiere Pro or After Effects; only MP4 export is available.

Access Conditions and Cost

Access to features depends on the user's subscription plan. Dashboards are available for Pro ($20/month), Max (from $100/month), Team, and Enterprise subscriptions. The Motion feature is available only for Team and Enterprise plans.

The minimum cost for the Team plan is $25 per user per month with monthly billing, requiring a minimum of two users. Meanwhile, Claude Design and Slides features have become available to free users. The standalone Claude Design site will close on December 14, 2026, and its functionality will be moved to the main interface.
