50 Cent admits to holding 700 bitcoins

Rapper Curtis Jackson, known as 50 Cent, claimed to have accumulated 700 bitcoins back in 2014. He stated that he accepted cryptocurrency for concerts and sales of his album Animal Ambition.

The artist's statements raise doubts due to contradictions with previous testimony.

In February 2018, as part of bankruptcy proceedings, the musician claimed he had never owned bitcoins. According to him, payments were processed by a third-party company that immediately converted the cryptocurrency into US dollars.
