ZK Protocol Sophon Shuts Down on November 30
ZK protocol Sophon, operating as a Layer 2 scaling solution on Ethereum, is ceasing operations. The mainnet will be shut down on November 30.
The project's technical architecture is a Validium built on ZKsync’s ZK Stack. This solution leverages zk-technology to ensure transaction privacy and scalability.

Network development was supported by several prominent institutional investors. The project raised funds from the following funds:
- The Spartan Group
- OKX Ventures
- HTX Ventures
- Maven 11 Capital
Total investment amounted to approximately $10 million. Additionally, the project generated $60 million through node sales.
