Technological foundation

Sophon was positioned as a ZK Layer 2 built on Validium architecture. ZK Stack from ZKsync was used for implementation.

Investments and funding

Before its closure, the project raised significant funds from institutional investors. The base round amounted to $10 million with participation from The Spartan Group, OKX Ventures, HTX Ventures, and Maven 11 Capital.

Additional funding of $60 million was obtained through node sales.
