Winklevoss Brothers File for Spot Zcash ETF

The Winklevoss brothers have filed an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch a spot ETF, with Zcash cryptocurrency as the underlying asset.

The S-1 registration statement was filed more than 13 years after the founders of Gemini first attempted to launch a spot Bitcoin ETF.

This event marks a new stage in the history of institutional investment in digital assets and the expansion of offerings in the crypto exchange-traded fund market.
