Whales Accumulate Bitcoin Amid Weak Demand

Large Bitcoin holders are once again showing interest in accumulating the asset, which may signal the formation of a local market bottom.

Net Accumulation Dynamics

CryptoQuant analysts note signs of BTC price stabilization. Whales with balances between 1,000 and 10,000 coins have resumed active accumulation.

The 60-day net accumulation metric for major players has improved significantly: the value rose from -62,600 to +5,230 BTC.

At the same time, stablecoin USDT reserves on the Binance exchange are growing. The volume of funds increased from $790 million to $1.76 billion, raising investors' potential purchasing power.

Risks and Current Situation

Despite positive signals from major players, demand in the US spot market remains weak. Short-term holders continue selling assets, realizing small losses.

For sustainable price growth, Bitcoin needs strengthened spot demand to offset seller pressure and confirm the formation of a new upward trend.
