On October 6, VTB Broker conducted pilot transactions in stablecoins for corporate clients. Settlements were carried out through a digital depository.
The first operations were completed after the bank was included in the registry of digital depositories maintained by the Central Bank of Russia.
The institute tested trading, accounting, and storage of digital assets before launching the service for a wider range of users.
On the same day, the Central Bank of Russia began including the first companies in official registries of crypto exchanges and digital depositories.
