Vitalik Buterin Promotes STARK Proofs in Ethereum

Vitalik Buterin continues to actively promote the use of STARK proofs in the Ethereum ecosystem, despite the fact that this technology has not yet been implemented in the network.

The founder of Ethereum proposes performing heavy self-contained computations and generating STARK proofs on the client side. The results should then be sent via the EIP-8288 recursive aggregation mechanism.

Buterin emphasizes that Ethereum is not just a blockchain, but a cryptographic world computer. Data and computations that do not need to reside in the main execution stream should be excluded from it.

This approach aims to optimize network throughput and reduce the load on the protocol's base layer by offloading complex operations to the client side.
